This photograph shows a Chess Board which I made during Design and Technology class while at school. The Board consists of a base, frame, two drawers (Covered with velvet) and a top formed from two different The basic template for the board was provided, however the edges of the Top, Base and Draws were designed by the student. I completed the project over the course of one school year, having spent the first couple of weeks completing the design.
