This is a photo taken in the small town of Malvern, Worcestershire, England at the start of this year. It depicts a Robin, a bird that is quite rare to see - especially up close. The vibrant orange of the robins face and chest shines out of and provides a stark contrast to the dull and bare branches of a small shrub. Also, the photograph captures the movement of the robins head and brings the vibrant and energetic nature of the bird to life.
