Developments Made:

• Main Studio/Gallery Space was moved to the north of the site in an attempt to connect it with the northern terraces and also allow a limited amount of northern sunlight to enter.
• Development of internal spaces

Issues/Further Development Needed:

• The front elevation
• The Pitched roof doesn’t fit and the high façade allows too much direct light into the studio
• The gallery is too high
• The front door and window confuse and do not fit with the facade
• The gallery space feels like it’s ‘added on’
• Too small a space
• Needs to be connected more with the main kitchen/dining space
• The Main door should be positioned at this join
• The large public space should extend inside and therefore there should be no north stairs moving down into the private garden as there has to be a ‘barrier’
• Need to develop spaces in terms of the surroundings, not just geometry to match/acknowledge it
• The bench at the house entrance
• The Front Façade
• The Gallery/Kitchen join
• Issues with the house design
• The stairs are too large/dominating
• The living Room should connect with the garden
