Developments Made:
  • Integration of the gallery space. Connected with the building through starting to develop a ‘wrapping element’ of diagonals and the large vaulted ceiling gallery space.
  • Developed interior spaces of both the gallery/studio and the house
  • Re-organised the landscaping on the western side of the plot, in connection with the private house.

Issues/Further Development Needed:
  • Glazing, in particular the way in which to interact with the view to the west
  • Open up the entire ground floor to create a flowing, large inside/outside gallery space
    • Smaller bathroom
    • No, or less dominant, kitchen bench
  • Carefully design the garden areas
  • Representation of level changes, in particular the representation of hand rails needs to be improved to help understanding
  • Materials
  • The effectives of the eastern, Victoria Street façade, in particular possibly no balcony on the top level
