Model It! Poster

The Model It! section of Architectural communications showed me the importance of models in he design process. Through using a variety of scales to explore massing models, siting models and detail models we can see that models can explore all parts of a design. Consequently, in the future I will use the skills and understanding developed in this workshop in all future design projects.

This poster aimed to show the importance of purpose and perspective in terms of model making. To improve the communication of this poster for the final submission I should aim to work on the layout more. The layout should follow a natural progression, leading our eyes around the page to the correct spaces and images. The coloured lines are currently overused as they distract from the images and consequently they need to be used to help this natural progresson. Finally, I need to make people wan to read the writing, this may be achieved through decreasing the amount of text, increasing the size and adjusting the positioning of it.
